These are doujinshi from my own limited collection. I only have a few, because I try to reserve the wallet for true movie related collectibles, but I did break down and get a few, so I'd have a nice sampling. And, I confess, I was curious to see what was what with these things.
Maybe I got a tame batch of doujinshi, but they weren't nearly as racy as I expected.
Please remember when you look at these, the Japanese read a book "back to front". I have called some of these "front covers", but it is the Japanese front cover.
If you'll scroll down to the bottom of the page, you'll also find some manga style stationery a very nice Japanese collector named Yushima shared with me. It is really beautiful!!!

I especially like the next four. I don't know if it's the same artist or not, but I do like them.
As near as I could gather, the plot line involved the miller coming on to poor Sam, who daydreamed about Frodo, while Frodo daydreamed about him. Lots of helpless puppy dogs looks exchanged. (*yawn*) Eventually Frodo and Sam make whoopee under a library table.

I can't help but think Sam is looking at a doujinshi in this next drawing, and is kind of shocked at how many longing glances he has to cast at Frodo to get any kind of action happening.

In a nod to Enya, this one is called In Dreams:

The following items are a small sample of some Japanese fan created stationery. A Japanese collector was kind enough to send these two me. I think they are lovely, and sincerely wish I could get my hands on a pad or two to share with friends.
These are the front/back of one, and the front of the other. The back of it also had terrific art, but she had written a personal note on it. Both have the name Green Glass on them, and a URL. I think Green Glass is a particularly attractive title, but then, I love glass nearly as much as I love LOTR.
I think the very Art Nouveau elves on this are stunning, particularly the Galadriel, as are some of the armor. In fact, if I had the proper connections, I'd bring this artist (if I knew who he or she was!) to the attention of the folks at Weta. This is some great stuff!
