My daughter and I played with the local league for a short while. They should get a certificate for patience, dealing with me.
I had a fit learning this challenging game, but my daughter did pretty well. Of course, it helps that she's eye candy, and the guys, mostly GA Tech students, were falling all over themselves not to give her burdens......

Playmats
Gorgeous full color, poster sized playmats.
The TCG has a very specific layout. The playmats were designed for four players, and had blocks marked where to lay your cards and your burdens.
I know a couple of people that got ahold of playmats to frame for rec/media rooms. They are that nice.
