Great Big Sea is my favorite band, hailing from Newfoundland, Canada. They do a unique combination of traditional songs, updated with a rock/pop feel (sometimes, sometimes not, but it's all good), and their own original, upbeat, makes ya fee good tunes.

You gotta love a band that gets 'em on their feet singing about dead horses and the gout. Anyone who can sit  during a GBS concert is, in a word, dead. RIP.

These are sound clips I filmed at a couple of their concerts, new songs from the album which will be released in Jan '08.

Really, I'm just kind of experimenting, to see how to attach clips to the website, but enjoy, and if you don't know about GBS, you are missing a real treat. Indescribably delicious. ;-)
